SuperNOVA is looking to hire a full time Administrative Assistant to support SuperNOVA’s public communications, planning, and scheduling of programs, as well as office administration. 
This position is a full time salaried position with a 37.5hr/week commitment.

SuperNOVA is looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and creative undergraduate students who have a passion to inspire youth through Science, Engineering, Technology, or Math (STEM). We accept applications from individuals of all academic backgrounds, with a preference for students currently in engineering, science, computer science, math, education, or related disciplines at Dalhousie University. You may be required to travel to deliver camps for up to 1 week (all travel is paid for by SuperNOVA).

This position is a temporary full-time paid position (37.5 hrs/week) from May 7th, 2019 - August 24th, 2019.

These individuals share the backgrounds of our Workshop and Camp Instructors, but will also be responsible for overseeing the creation of specific streams of curriculum. We accept applications from individuals of all academic backgrounds, with a preference for Dalhousie students and alumni. You may be required to travel to deliver camps for up to 1 week (all travel is paid for by SuperNOVA).

Office Assistant

SuperNOVA is looking for an organized and efficient person to work as SuperNOVA's Office Assistant this summer. The Office Assistant will be responsible for overseeing SuperNOVA's inventory and packing bins for camps and workshops. The Office Assistant may also be required to step into the camp classroom from time to time.  

This position is a temporary full-time paid position (37.5 hrs/week) from June 24th, 2019 - August 23rd, 2019.

Codemakers Instructor - Halifax, NS - CLOSED

SuperNOVA is looking to hire a computer science student for the part time role of Codemakers Instructor. SuperNOVA's Codemakers Instructor will oversee the successful development of curriculum specific to the area of computer science and technology, the integration of technology into program management and execution, and providing office technology support. The Codemakers Instructor will work closely with SuperNOVA’s Codemakers Program Assistant to engage students all over Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island in computer science, coding, and digital literacy skills. SuperNOVA’s Codemakers Instructor will also be responsible for social media support.

The position is a fall term part-time paid position with a flexible hours at $12.50/hour from January 7th-April 26th, 2019.
Possibility for extension to winter term.
