SuperNOVA is looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and creative undergraduate students who have a passion to inspire youth through Science, Engineering, Technology, or Math (STEM). We accept applications from individuals of all academic backgrounds, with a preference for students currently in engineering, science, computer science, math, education, or related disciplines. 

This position is a temporary full-time paid position (37.5 hrs/week) from May 8th, 2016 - August 25th, 2017.

Camper Wellness Advisor/Office Assistant - CLOSED
Application Deadline: Monday, February 20th, 2017 @ 11:59PM AST.

SuperNOVA is looking for a Camper Wellness Advisor/Office Assistant, whose position will be responsible for developing and managing SuperNOVA’s activity and athletics strategy, as well as overseeing the safety protocol for staff and campers throughout the summer. You will act as an advisor for the creation of athletic programs and modules to be delivered during camp programs, as well as the creation of fully-inclusive, active activities to be delivered by yourself and other instructors at drop-off, lunch, and pick-up. You will be responsible for hosting all lunch-time activities, as well as swimming on Wednesday afternoons at the Dalplex facility. 

This position is a temporary full-time paid position (37.5 hrs/week) from May 8th, 2016 - August 25th, 2017.

Program Assistant - NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

SuperNOVA is hiring a full-time, year-round Program Assistant to support the Director in administrative duties, materials inventory, scheduling and organization of programming throughout the year. In addition to program organization, the Program Assistant will also be responsible for the delivery of camp, workshop and club programming. 

Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in STEM field, plus demonstrated experience in working with children and youth. Demonstrated ability to work independently with close attention to detail, and the ability to establish priorities in order to meet deadlines is essential. Candidates must have excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skill. 

This position is a full-time yearly contract position (37.5 hrs/week), as an Associated Employee of Dalhousie University, SuperNOVA as the Associated Employer.
Salary: $40,000 annually, plus benefits.
